Meet Dominic and Sondra Maus, the dynamic duo at the core of Cocoon Reserve.
Dominic, along with his brother Fabian, is the proud owner of Maus Development – a respected real estate venture originating from the lively city of Hamburg, Germany. Established in 2011, this family business thrives on innovation and boasts strong connections to Hamburg’s Elbe suburbs.
Captivated by the surf-infused lifestyle, Dominic made a significant leap to Lombok, Indonesia, taking charge of Maus Development’s projects in this tropical haven. His deep-rooted love for Indonesia’s waves, culture, and lifestyle has been a longstanding source of joy and inspiration.
In 2022, Dom and Sonny exchanged vows in Hamburg. Shortly after, Sonny, a lawyer by profession, joined Dominic in Lombok, where they collaborated to construct a splendid home. Now, anticipating the arrival of their first child, they eagerly await the opportunity to raise their daughter, together with their three dogs, surrounded by Indonesia’s natural beauty.
As Dominic focuses on expanding Maus Development into Indonesia, his brother Fabian oversees operations in Hamburg. Cocoon Reserve in Lombok signifies the initial stride in Maus Development’s ventures in Indonesia.

Ifan Pradana, our General Manager, brings extensive expertise to our resort with a background in events management and notable roles with Accorhotels and BVLGARI Resort Bali. With a career spanning back to 2007, Ifan has successfully overseen numerous hotels across the region, including a significant contribution to the success of BVLGARI Resort Bali.
In 2017, Ifan took on a pivotal role at Selong Selo Resort & Residences Lombok, achieving noteworthy results, including a substantial increase in direct bookings. His subsequent role as the Indonesia Contracting Manager for EXO Travel showcased his excellence in supplier relations and contract negotiation.
Currently providing sales consultancy for Bawah Reserve, Ifan continues to excel in managing comprehensive sales activities, fostering relationships with luxury tour operators, and driving continuous business to the resort. With a proven track record of success in the hospitality industry, Ifan Pradana inspires confidence in potential investors, positioning himself as a valuable asset in steering the resort towards unprecedented success.
